A ten-year plan for Irvine.
The Board's Regeneration Plan was approved by UK Government in April 2026. It sets out how £20 million of Plan for Neighbourhoods funding will be invested across the town over the next decade.
What's in it.
The Plan was developed by the Irvine Neighbourhood Board through engagement with residents, businesses, community organisations and partners. It identifies the priorities for the town and the strategic outcomes the funding is intended to deliver.
It is a live document. The Board will revisit and refine the Plan over the ten years of the programme as projects deliver, evidence builds, and the community continues to feed in.
The full Plan is available to read online or download below.
How decisions are made.
The Plan is delivered by the Irvine Neighbourhood Board, supported by North Ayrshire Council. The Board operates under published Standing Orders and Terms of Reference, meets regularly, and publishes approved minutes of every meeting.
